The www.dineindublin.ie website will be updated to offer “Book Now” functionality to all restaurants participating in the scheme. The website will allow your customers to quickly find and now make a booking directly into your restaurant – at any time! This kind of booking technology has been shown to significantly increase booking covers for those restaurants that offer real-time booking where customers can get an immediate booking confirmation by SMS or Email without having to ring the restaurant or wait for an email enquiry response or callback.
Dine in Dublin will provide a genuine boost to restaurants in the Dublin area by providing what the customers expect – real time, instant booking confirmation from the comfort of their computer, without having to lift the phone. This will provide you the opportunity to promote your business and accept bookings without having to answer the phone for reservations during your busy service.
What is RestaurantDiary eXpress™?
RestaurantDiary eXpress™ is an FREE Restaurant Reservation Application used online that will maximise your restaurant capacity, improve kitchen flow, enhance customer experience and increase your bottom line profit from day one!

The table numbers and the maximum number of covers are shown down the left hand side. At the top of the picture is the time in 15 minute intervals, and the grid shows your bookings in detail. Bookings will always follow your unique booking pattern and the system can be fine-tuned to suit every restaurant style.

I like using the book, how will RestaurantDiary eXpress™ benefit me?
RestaurantDiary eXpress™ will allow you to fit more customers into your existing table plan and maximize your covers every night! It does this by understanding your booking policy and knowing your accepted table joins. With this information we are then able to reserve the tables in your desired pattern and even join tables together in your order of preference. It also gathers your customers’ information including email addresses, phone numbers - even down to how they heard about you. The more you know about your customers, the better position you are to market effectively to them.
You can look up your repeat customers easily and optionally send out promotions and special offers by email and text. The system confirms bookings immediately with an optional personalised text or email confirmation message. You can even embed menus, directions or special offers within the email confirmation.
This confirmation email includes your logo at the top building a strong brand image and providing customers with a great experience.
How do I allow my customers to book online directly?
You can add our RestaurantDiary eXpress™ booking widget to both your website and your facebook page, as we know customers like to book tables at all times of the day and night. · Not join the Where to Eat project and cease using our software and incur no costs
· Not join the Where to Eat project and upgrade to our RestaurantDiary Pro software – monthly charges apply
